£16,781 - £18,070 per annum: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.75 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £9.37 per hour.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join the CYP Payments Team located at Trent Bridge House.

You will have relevant experience of working in a busy team to deliver operational activities within a Payments Team in facilitating payments to internal and external care providers within agreed timescales. Previous finance and administration experience is required with good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with internal and external customers and providers. You will receive support and training but experience and knowledge of the following is essential:

  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Be able input and manipulate information on databases and spreadsheets
  • Have a knowledge of and an interest in finance related work
  • Experience of processing invoices and raising purchase orders
  • Investigating and resolving queries from various sources

  • Possessing good organisational skills
  • A strong commitment to task and self-motivation
  • The flexibility to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • To have the ability to plan and co-ordinate own work
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • The ability to monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace

You must also possess the commitment to excellent customer care and understand the concept of safeguarding of children and young people and confidentiality.
