Nottinghamshire County Council's Youth Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Youth Work Apprentice to work within the Commissioned Projects Team. The successful candidate will work alongside staff within the Commissioned Projects Team, working directly and indirectly with young people aged 10-19 (up to 25 with a disability), in developing their health and social education. You will contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of the young people's projects being run within the team.

The commissioned Projects Team run several health related projects to support young people's health promotion and well-being. You will work directly within this team to take on day to day administration tasks, co-ordination tasks and face to face work with young people, including evenings and weekends.

The projects;
The C Card Scheme - This is a free sexual health advice and condoms service for young people
The ASSIST Programme- This is a smoking prevention and peer mentoring programme
Youth Work in Hospitals- Providing support to young people at Kings Mill Hospitals children's ward, with a focus on mental health
