Part Time Mobile Caretaker
You will be required to undertake the full range of janitorial and caretaking tasks to provide cover across all County Council educational and non-educational establishments throughout the Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, Gedling and Newark Areas. It is therefore essential that you have your own vehicle. A mileage allowance is paid from a defined point to cover travel expenses.
You must be self-motivated and willing to work a split shift between the hours of 6.00am – 9.00am & 3.00pm – 6.00pm. Basic core hours of 20hours per week, with additional hours regularly available, due to the requirements of the site on which you are working. There may be occasional Saturday working & late finishing times of 7.30pm.
The role of Mobile Supply Caretaker is very demanding, working over a wide range of sites, however also rewarding with you being required to deliver and promote NCC services, whilst delivering quality cover for staff absences due to sickness or annual leave etc. You may be required to act as one of the main key holders for a site, attend alarm activations as required & open / secure buildings for lettings, to which additional payments will be made.
