£7.97 - £8.55 per hour. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £8.75 per hour.

Brookside Primary School is a medium sized primary school set in extensive grounds, and is located in the centre of the popular village of East Leake, which is close to the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire boarders.

The position will involve working an am / pm split shift, from 6am until 9.30am, returning at 3.30pm until 6pm. The post comprises of 3 hours of cleaning and 3 hours of caretaking duties per day.

The main duties of the post are to: open & close the building. General building maintenance, such as toilet repairs & putting up of shelves. Boiler maintenance. Compliance tests, such as fire alarm tests. Cleaning of a designated area to a high standard. Supervision of a member of cleaning staff through delegation of work, ensuring all appropriate paperwork is completed, in relation to time sheets, holiday requests, sickness and ordering of stock.

You will be responsible to the Building Cleaning management team but will also be expected to liaise closely with key School contacts to ensure the needs of the building and its users are met.
