CLEANER/CARETAKER – 15 HOURS PER WEEK

Cleaner salary: grade 1 point 8 - £ 7.90* per hour for 10 hrs

Caretaker salary: grade 2 point 13 - £ 8.55 per hour for 5 hrs

*plus living wage allowance of 0.55p per hour (Living Wage Foundation Rate is £8.45 as of 1st November 2016)

North Clifton Primary School requires a new Caretaker/Cleaner, from the 10th April 2017. Within the two roles, you will work 15 hours a week (3 hours a day) and will be required to clean and maintain the building and offer a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.

We are a small yet proud school and are looking for someone to join our friendly, supportive team. We are an inclusive staff who value the contributions of everyone involved with the school. As our caretaker/cleaner you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in our building and grounds.

The posts involve a split shift during which, you will be expected to deliver the full range of maintenance, caretaking and cleaning duties. You will also be a key holder and so will have responsibility for securing the site.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally we are looking for someone with a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to our school.
