External Workforce Lead Officer
We are excited to advertise the opportunity to join the Quality and Market Management Team in Adult Social Care as an External Workforce Lead Officer. This teams purpose is to contract manage and support the external social care market in their delivery of care and support to the people of Nottinghamshire. The role of the External Workforce Officer will be to lead and support the development and delivery of a workforce strategy that links to the market sustainability strategy and supporting market position statements. It is essential in this post to work in collaboration with health and social care partners, their workforce and also people with lived experiences.
There are a number of priorities being developed in response to the current workforce crisis with the aim to stabilise the social care workforce and the outcome of improved perception of working in social care.
The External Workforce Team is a small team within the Quality and Market Management Team where as a team working together to support and improve outcomes for both the people who access services and also for the workforce who provide that important care and support.
