Head teacher: Mrs Lucy Peet

Number on roll in September 170 (50 F2, 56 Y1, 30 Y2 plus 19 am /15 pm F1 nursery) (rising to 78)

Due to staff restructuring we are seeking to appoint creative, energetic, enthusiastic teachers with high standards, flair and excellent practice to work alongside our experienced and supportive staff team. The posts are from January 2016, but there is a possibility that the F2 teacher could begin before this if they were available.

We have two permanent posts available - one to work initially in our lovely Foundation Unit, and a part time 0.5 teacher to teach Y2 from January 2016. This is to cover maternity cover at first for at least two terms and to then teach a KS1 class as our numbers rise. Initially the days required will be Monday, Tuesday and half of Wednesday, but this may be subject to change in September 2016 when the maternity part finishes.

  • Understand the importance of an outstanding learning environment and be able to provide this both indoors and outdoors
  • Have experience of teaching FS or KS1 and understand the importance of creating a love of learning and sense of pride in children’s achievements
