The governors of Richard Bonington Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent class teacher from Spring term 2016, with responsibility for Teaching and Learning across the school.

The exact roles and responsibilities of the post will be developed with the successful applicant upon appointment. However, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have an excellent understanding of approaches to Teaching and Learning, including the use of formative assessment strategies to support pupils learning
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Have experience of leading school improvement initiatives that have had a significant impact on raising standards of achievement in school

We are looking for an outstanding class teacher who will be an important member of the school’s leadership team. Regular non-contact time and professional development opportunities are available for the right candidate.
