Health/Personal Care Assistant

The post holder will be required to work for the Debdale Federation.  The Federation consists of Yeoman Park School and Redgate School.  Yeoman Park School is a Special School for students aged 3 – 19 years, all of whom have complex learning difficulties and disabilities.  Redgate School is a special school for pupils aged 3-11 years, whom have moderate/severe and complex learning difficulties, predominantly Autism spectrum Disorder (ASD).

We are currently looking to recruit a Health/Personal Care Assistant. Hours of work will be 25 hours per week.  You will be based at Yeoman Park School.  The successful candidate must have a willingness and understanding of health care issues.  Training will be provided for gastrostomy feeding, administration of medicines and other health care issues.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the CRB.
