At Nottinghamshire County Council, we embrace the latest technologies and build strong teams and partnerships to deliver leading-edge digital services to our citizens, staff, and partners.  Our approach to delivering technology has been undergoing change, adopting Agile practices, and embedding DevOps and ITIL4 principles across our operation.  We are now looking for a self-motivated individual to work in a DevOps environment, to develop and support line of business services and ensure the technology they use continues to meet their requirements.

NCC work on a wide variety of the technologies both in-house and hosted including: -

  • Azure applications and functions
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • FME and spatial data
  • And many more

You also will be a key contributor to ensuring that the applications are robust and fit for purpose, as well as working with colleagues on a variety of projects.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience in some or all the following:

  • Familiar with the methodologies used within digital services. e.g. Agile, DevOps, ITIL
  • Able to communicate with stakeholder at all levels
  • Working as part of a team and making a positive contribution
  • Flexible and willing to respond to new challenges.
  • Able to deliver and support line-of-business solutions
