Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service, are recruiting a Mobile Caretaker.  The Mobile Caretaker post will be to provide cover sites all across the Mansfield area, access to transport to/from sites will be required. A mileage allowance is paid for the use of your own transport. The sites we maintain include schools, college, office buildings and a transport interchange. 

The duties of the Caretaker include, overseeing the cleaning of the building, maintain the building, offering help / advice to the public if needed and also offer a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.  Working 37 per week, which may include weekend working (enhancements for weekend / unsociable hours working will be paid) with also a possible early morning start or late finish time. The role also involves been a key holder with responsibility for the opening and securing the site at the end of the day.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous and ideally you will have a high degree of commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff, pupils and visitors to our buildings.
