The school is looking to employ an enthusiastic, talented Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract from 1st September 2017 to 31 August 2018. The post will be deployed across Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classes.

This opportunity is suitable for someone who is committed to the care of the children and to supporting them in achieving their potential. The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher and with other members of the school team undertaking mainly pupil based activities to enhance the teaching and learning in school. A flexible, caring individual who enjoys working with young children, who understands child development and the challenges of the Foundation Stage and KS1 curriculum, will be an asset to the school. The successful applicant will need to work with the class teacher and support the wide spectrum of pupil learning.

 

Candidates will need to show an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the use of English language. 

The post is to work 8.45am – 3.45pm, Monday to Thursday.
