Graduate Learning Support Assistant

30 hours per week

We are looking for someone with excellent numeracy and literacy skills; and with the tenacity to ensure that our youngsters receive the best possible provision. If this is you then this could be a fantastic stepping-stone to becoming a teacher.

As a lead member of the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership, we are well placed to help support any member of our support staff who would like to progress into teacher training in the future. Ideally we are looking for applications from graduates but we will consider any other relevant experience. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential.

You will be a member of our Learning Support Team providing one to one or small group support for vulnerable youngsters. You will also spend time supporting whole class teaching and will work closely with teachers to support them in making necessary adjustments to teaching and resources
