Starting in September 2017, part time working mornings in a Key Stage 2 class to support the class teacher and children with special educational needs.

We are seeking to appoint a strong Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking staff team from September. We are looking for someone who has a positive ‘can do’ approach that empowers children whilst maintaining our high levels of pupil behaviour and a calm and purposeful learning climate. An ability to liaise effectively and concisely with the class teacher to gain an understanding of intended learning and feedback on outcomes is crucial. Some of the work will be delivering specific activities such as interventions. Other work will require an ability to facilitate, support and assess learning that takes place in the classroom. An ability to be independent and proactive in taking the next step is essential as is a willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to make being at school a great experience for our pupils. In return you will get the opportunity to work with a committed and skilled team who provide a caring and engaging learning experience for our children.
