We are looking to recruit a number of Relief Care Workers who are able to work in any or all of our services across Nottinghamshire. The services are based in Worksop, Mansfield, Eastwood and Bingham and require relief staff who can work flexibly across some or all of our shift patterns that cover 24/7. Our shifts are 6.45am to 2.45pm & 2pm to 10pm during the day and 10pm to 7am during the night. In a relief role you work as many or as few shifts as you choose.

In this role you will support people with basic daily living skills like personal care, as well as supporting them to have a meaningful day by doing the things they enjoy. So, be prepared to go to the cinema to see the latest movie, or landing a full strike when supporting someone at ten pin bowling. No two days are ever the same.  The young people who use our services love going out and about trying out new things. Maybe you have a hobby that you can share? A love for gardening, a musician, an artist?

No training? Do not worry, we provide training to enable you to carry out your role successfully and offer supervision and development to support you in your role.  This might be the start of a whole new career!

What is necessary are the right values, behaviour and attitude towards working with people who have a learning disability.

As part of the recruitment process you will provide 2 suitable referees for employment references and undertake a DBS check.
