Berry Hill is situated in Mansfield, North Nottinghamshire. We are a 420 primary school with a school nursery.

What we are looking for:

We are actively seeking an EYFS lead who will join our school on the journey from good to great. Having received a ‘Good’ OFSTED grade in January 2020, we require an EYFS leader who has the ability to form excellent relationships with children to ensure that pupils have the best possible start to their school career.

Our new EYFS lead will work alongside our team to take the current provision to the next level of its development.   The provision consists of a two form entry F2 Unit and a nursery that offers the 30 hours provision.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is innovative, resilient and enthusiastic.

  • Has strong interpersonal and organisational skills who is also a creative, engaging teacher that demonstrates an innovative approach to teaching and learning.

  • Loves supporting and inspiring students and staff

  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team

  • Has experience of successful EYFS teaching is essential

  • Has a proven track record as an Early Years leader is essential

  • Is an inspirational leader with drive, ambition and integrity

  • Has a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment processes

Previous experience as an EYFS Lead is essential for this role. Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status.
