The Mosaic Development Team has responsibility for developing, managing and supporting the electronic social care recording system within the Adult Social Care & Health Department.

Mosaic is an electronic case management system used by both Children’s and Adult’s Social Care. This system is critical in providing accessible, accurate and secure case records. It is used to support both day to day case management and provide information for the strategic management and planning for the department.

We now have the requirement for 2 temporary highly proficient Technical Specialists to join the team to work with ourselves, front line workers and our Transformation colleagues in delivering a specific project aimed at simplifying processes within the Mosaic system. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in developing a more streamlined approach for users of the Mosaic system.

Aspects of the software are configurable to enable specific and specialist workflow build and functionality, and it is essential that you are proficient in software tools which automate or assist the development process. Knowledge of Mosaic and the business of Social Care are also essential.  

As well as ICT skills you will need to work creatively to problem solve and build and maintain successful relationships with colleagues from all disciplines and management levels.   You will be a good communicator , highly organised and flexible, and be able to assimilate and interpret complex information under pressure as well as the ability to deliver to prescribed timescales.
