Position arising due to the current post holder gaining another position within the authority, required from 20th April 2021.

Particular responsibilities:

The post requires you to:-

  • Teach pupils within the age range 3 to 7 for two days a week for leadership and management cover across the school. The remaining three days will be provided to fulfil the role of Deputy Head Teacher and SENDCo
  • Be the school SENDCo and carry out all duties related to the leadership and management of that position
  • Lead, manage and organise teaching assistants across the school
  • Be responsible for leading positive behaviour management approaches across the school
  • Appraise members of the teaching staff
  • Be a lead member of the Senior Management Team and Senior Leadership team
