Qualified Teaching Assistant (Foundation 1)
Due to a temporary increase in pupil numbers we wish to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our committed and hard-working early years team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching and learning and emotional development of the children in their care.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
· has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum, makes learning fun and engaging whilst ensuring that all children are appropriately challenged
· is an outstanding practitioner and can inspire a passion for learning
· has high expectations of themselves and of the children
· is nurturing, committed to inclusion and ensures the best possible outcomes for all the children they work with
· will work diligently and creatively to engage all children, especially those with SEND
· shows empathy and understanding of the needs of the pupils
· has experience of or sees the benefit of outdoor learning
· is enthusiastic with a positive attitude
· is able to show initiative, flexibility and resilience
· is a real team player who can work closely with all colleagues, parents/carers and is willing to go the extra mile
· has achieved NVQ level 3 or above in Childcare and GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and maths
