Following the retirement of the headteacher of our happy and successful school, the governors are seeking to appoint a successor who has the passion, drive and vision to work with the governing body to take this thriving school to the next stage of its development. The school was last inspected in September 2013 and was judged to be a good school. This is an opportunity to build on our previous recognised success, keep us firmly at the heart of our community and maintain and progress our provision even further.

As our new headteacher, you will:

•Be dynamic, determined, approachable and visionary;

•Be an inspirational leader, team manager and team player;

•Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour;

•Be able to motivate and inspire both staff and pupils to ensure a continued focus on learning;

•Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop strong relationships with staff, pupils, parents, governors and other stakeholders;

•Be an excellent classroom practitioner and be able to lead by example;

•Build on existing strengths and lead the school to further improve the quality of our provision.
