Wynhill Lodge is a 10 bedded quality short breaks service based in Bingham Nottinghamshire.  We are passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities.  We are seeking to recruit a team leader who is able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those who need our care and support.  You’ll also need to provide supervision and value led management to a team of care workers.

As a Team Leader you will oversee the development, implementation and review of support plans that are designed to allow for people to make choices about the care they receive. You will line manage a small team where you can demonstrate your leadership abilities along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, developing team members to maximise their existing skills and fostering new ones.

The Team Leader works shifts covering a rota including weekends and bank holidays.  They act as duty manager for the shift and have delegated responsibility for the smooth running of the service. Due to the nature of the post the right person will need to have had at least 2 years’ experience working in a care service for adults with a learning disability.

Appointment to this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
