You will work well as part of team and have effective relationships with people who uses services, colleagues, carers, other professionals and the wider community. You will also be required to supervise the work of other staff daily with the allocation of workload, tasks and health and safety functions. You will have a can-do attitude, lead by example, and demonstrate positivity and respect to people who use the services.

Excellent report and recording skills are essential to ensure the delivery of person-centred care and support plans to maximise independence and to give people choice and control over their lives.

You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with people with disabilities or in a care setting and hold a social care qualification (NVQ 3, Diploma in Care 4 or equivalent)

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
