We are excited to advertise the opportunity to join the Quality and Market Management Team in Adult Social Care as a Quality and Contracts Officer (QCO) - External Workforce Support.

The Quality and Market Management teams' purpose is to contract manage and support the external Adult Social Care market in their delivery of care and support to the people of Nottinghamshire. The External Workforce Team is a small team within the Quality and Market Management Team, who work to support and improve outcomes for both the people who access services and also for the workforce who provide that important care and support.

This Quality and Contract Officer post will support on the delivery of a number of priorities that will be set out in a system wide workforce strategy. This workforce strategy will link to several other key deliverables that will be set out in the Councils market sustainability strategy/Market Position Statement (MPS) for Adult Social Care. It is essential in this post to work in collaboration with health and social care partners, their workforce and also people with lived experiences. 

There are a number of priorities being developed in response to the current workforce crisis with the aim to stabilise the Adult Social Care workforce and the outcome of improved perception of working in social care.
