We are now seeking a Technician to support our Design Department by:

  • Preparing, setting up / putting away and checking equipment in all aspects of Design and Technology
  • Supporting teaching staff and students during lessons
  • Ensuring a safe environment
  • Organising and storing equipment and checking stock
  • Repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment 

We are looking to appoint a candidate who is able to, prepare, assemble and manage resources and materials for use in lessons. To secure this role you must have knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements, an ability to carry out maintenance and use of tools and equipment coupled with strong IT and administration skills. This role requires the post holder to be able to transport and assemble equipment and this is a fundamental requirement of the role. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, possesses an eye for detail, has the ability to communicate and build excellent working relationships with staff and students.
