Are you passionate about safeguarding adults?  Do you want to help influence the strategic direction of this work across Nottinghamshire? The Safeguarding Adults Strategic Team have an opportunity for the right person to join the team in an exciting new role. 

Influencing and creating sustainable change are what’s required for this temporary one year post – you’ll be responsible for embedding the changing practice required as part of the Care Act, in particular ‘making safeguarding personal’.  You’ll have significant knowledge and understanding of the main issues affecting safeguarding adults along with the skills and expertise to lead change. 

Working closely with the local authority’s safeguarding governance group and operational teams, you’ll bridge the gap between strategic and operational work to develop best practice in safeguarding adults.
