The Governors of this popular school are looking to appoint an experienced manager to lead the before school childcare provision. The provision is offered to children aged 3 to 11 years and is well established. 

The post holder will provide inclusive play and learning opportunities whilst maintaining a safe, stimulating and pleasant environment for all pupils attending the club. 

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and parents, is friendly and approachable and can build good relationships with both. Applicants will have experience of effectively managing a similar service and a team of staff; a sound understanding of child development and children’s needs and excellent interpersonal skills. 

You will be required to plan and deliver activities, maintain acceptable standards of behaviour, manage a dedicated budget, contribute to and implement policies and ensure all statutory and setting obligations are met.
