Residential Social Care Worker

The successful candidate will join an experienced team, determined to work hard to meet the needs of the children we look after. The role requires you to have NVQ3/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare if you do not already have this you will be enrolled on the course which is funded by the authority. Ideally you will have at least 6 months experience of working with children, young people or adults either in a voluntary, work or other relevant setting.
This is a 24 hour a day service therefore you will be required to work a variety of shifts including, evening, weekends and bank holidays.
Shift work has an impact on your lifestyle, and you should consider this before applying!
Our evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts attract enhanced payment therefore increasing your basic salary for this post on average this could be around an additional £2800 per annum.
