This post is based at Lawn View House, Sutton in Ashfield; however, the applicant will be expected to work across the county and be available to work some evenings and weekends as required. You will work closely with children and young people aged 10 – 18 who have been identified as being at risk of offending or who have committed offences. You will be required to work with the young person and others to deliver assessment, planning and intervention to reduce their likelihood of becoming involved in offending or re-offending; address the risk of harm they may pose to others and their vulnerability factors.

An ability to gather, evaluate and assess information along with the ability to deliver creative interventions are essential requirements of the post.  You must have strong interpersonal skills and be confident in a group work setting, taking the lead in facilitating group work programmes. You must possess good communication skills and be able to prioritise and work to deadlines. Those applying for the posts will be able to demonstrate experience of working directly with children and young people and their families.

In addition to the above you will have access to a car.
