This is a key post which supports the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The service works in partnership with Health colleagues. The post provides administrative support to two managers and a number of workers who are a combination of social care and health workers.   The successful candidate will need to work across Health and NCC systems. To facilitate this they will be based at a Health site at Lichfield Lane in Mansfield. 

There is a high level of data processing, following systems and processes; and finance related tasks checking and processing statements and invoices. Excellent ICT skills, accuracy, attention to detail to investigate and resolve queries is vital. You will need to be a self-motivated person with excellent organisational abilities and the ability work independently to prioritise and schedule your own workload. 

The work will require you to have a broad range of skills. These will include:

  • IT (Microsoft Office) particularly Word and Excel to a high level
  • a high level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • significant experience of operating database systems, preferably including Framework
  • ability to develop and streamline systems and processes
  • strong organisational abilities to prioritise, plan and co-ordinate work quickly and effectively
  • ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • effective telephone skills, excellent customer service and the ability to deal with people sensitively and professionally even when they may be distressed or angry
  • a full appreciation of the need for confidentiality
