We have a temporary part-time vacancy for a teaching assistant to work in Foundation Stage to support a child with additional needs in the Foundation Stage.

The position would be ideally suited to someone who already has experience in supporting a child with SEN and who is able to work 5 days a week during school hours (approx. 20/25 hours). Temporary Monday to Friday. There may be a little flexibility in this depending upon what you can offer. The position is to start as soon as possible. Salary is dependent upon experience.

The successful candidate must be qualified to at least Level 2.

• have experience of supporting a child with additional needs

• have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how young children learn

• have excellent communication skills

• have a commitment to helping children achieve

• be enthusiastic, with a positive attitude

• have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
