£7.52 - £8.39 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to a minimum of £ 8.25 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.39 per hour

Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service in conjunction with Bramcote Hills Primary requires a new Caretaker/Cleaner. Working a total 22.5 hours week (17.50 hours for the Caretaker post and 5 hours for the Cleaner post) you will be required to clean a designated area and maintain the building delivering a range of caretaking services for the benefit of pupils, parents and staff.

The two separate posts will form a single shift (2.30 – 7.00pm) with key holder responsibilities for securing the building at the end of the day. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

A smart appearance is essential, with a uniform provided

Bramcote Hills Primary is a 350 pupil school with 14 classrooms, hall, dining area, kitchen, ICT suite, staff room and office suite. The school is set on a spacious campus with two hard surface play areas and a grassed area. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the school’s current Site Manager who will work the morning shift.

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but ideally we are looking for someone with interest and a high degree of commitment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff, children and visitors to the school.
