John Hunt Primary School is a 2 form-entry mixed community school for pupils aged 3-11 years.  The Governors wish to recruit a Head Teacher who can continue the rapid improvement the school is already making and ensure all our pupils, staff and the rest of the school community are achieving the best that is possible. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and dedicated individual who will have a clear strategic vision to develop the future of John Hunt and move our school on to the next stage of its development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a clear vision and strong commitment to school improvement and excellence

• Has high expectations and aspirations, focusing on raising achievement and standards across the whole school

• Has a proven track record of effective leadership and management;

• Has proven ability and skills to lead, manage and inspire pupils, staff and governors;
