Ash Lea School Governors are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to delivering a high standard of direct and indirect student care and education as part of a caring and child focused team, starting in September.

Ash Lea is a special school for children from 3-18 years old with severe and complex educational needs and now located in our new permanent building in Cotgrave.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of child protection, the SEN code of practice, confidentiality and data protection and become a member of a multi-disciplinary team, working under the supervision of the Head Teacher and alongside health care professionals and education staff. Experience of working within a special educational setting, health care procedures and medication administration is desirable along with training in First Aid, MAPA, Moving and Handling, however, full training will be given. The ability to work under pressure, while meeting the ever changing needs of the school environment, is essential. You will need to be proactive and work on your own initiative whilst being part of a wider team.
