Following the loss of our previous Headteacher, we are looking for a committed individual to lead our dedicated staff team.

Our children are welcoming, inquisitive and have a positive attitude to learning. They have a wide range of abilities and needs and we have high aspirations for them. This is what they would like from their new Headteacher:

• Who is firm but fair and will motivate them to achieve their best;

Our friendly staff team have a diverse range of skills and experience and would like to work with someone who will value each of them and promote and enrich their professional development.

Sherwood is an urban school in a rural setting. We are in the heart of Sherwood Forest country, close to the Derbyshire Peak District and with good links to Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds and Birmingham.
