2 x Temporary Class Teachers - full time to cover Maternity leave

Required to start from mid-January and end of February respectively, two enthusiastic and committed teachers to teach initially a class group within this all aged Specialist Special School for children with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.

The particular class groups are for children largely within our ‘Formal’ ability range (differentiated National Curriculum) Covering key stages 2-4 and 4-5 respectively.

Excellent teaching practice, experience of working with children with complex SEN in a special or mainstream setting and an ability to work creatively, collaboratively and flexibly are essential for this post.  The post carries a SEN allowance.  The value of the allowance will be dependent on qualification and experience.  The ability to teach Science or Math’s (up to GCSE Level) would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have to meet the personal specification in order to be offered the post.
