Occupational Therapists are required to deliver good outcomes for adults through completing timely assessments and implementing effective care plans that safeguard vulnerable adults. They manage multifaceted cases including those requiring complicated equipment and major structural adaptations that keep people and their carer’s safe using a person centred approach. Occupational Therapist need to be able to apply advanced knowledge of a wide range of policies in reflective evidence based practice.

Successful candidates will be provided with a comprehensive induction programme, access to training, and other professional developmental opportunities to enable them to fulfil their role, raise their competency level and progress their career.

Post 1:  Reablement Team (Ashfield / Mansfield ) – Newly qualified / Experienced

  • Full time (37 hours per week)
  • Office Base:  Lawn View House, Sutton-in-Ashfield

A full time Occupational Therapist is required to work in our reablement service. This entails working with our reablement support workers with service users for a maximum of six weeks, to help them regain independence or reduce the level of long term support needs.

 

Post 2:  Older Adults Community Team (Ashfield / Mansfield) x 1.5 – Newly qualified / Experienced

  • 2 Permanent posts
  • One full time (37 hours per week) and one part time (18.5 hours per week)
  • Office Base:  Lawn View House, Sutton-in-Ashfield

Two Occupational Therapists are required to work in our district team who can deal with complex health and social care needs. Experience with moving and handling is desirable/essential as we are committed to ensuring that an appropriate level of support is provided for our service users.
