22.5 hours per week 41 weeks per annum.

We are seeking to appoint a well organised, sports-orientated and highly motivated individual to undertake this valuable post raising the participation in sporting events across Broxtowe. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a successful calendar of School Games competitions.  This will include competitions linking to and supporting an established framework for competitive school sport at county, district and local level. The role will require significant partnership working with a wide range of local schools, clubs and NGBs involved in running and supporting school sport competitions and events.

The role is focused on increasing the number of schools and young people participating in School Games competitions.  The post-holder will build on our existing work in broadening opportunities for all including increasing participation in competitions and club sport. It will be a key part of the role to support primary schools in achieving their PE and School Sport Premium outcomes. 

The role will require significant partnership working with a wide range of local schools, clubs and NGBs involved in running and supporting school sport competitions and events.

The successful candidate will evidence a strong knowledge of, and experience in, school sports or coaching, strong administrative abilities, the ability to build, grow and nurture current relationships and a passion to develop the participation of young people in sport.
