The staff and governors of Samuel Barlow Primary School are looking for a talented teacher to join our team on a permanent basis from 1st January 2016 on the final stages of our journey to becoming a ‘good’ school.

We are seeking an exceptional teacher who:

  • Has a proven track record of effective teaching in a primary school
  • Can move children’s learning on quickly within a creative and challenging curriculum
  • Has high expectations of all pupils’ learning and behaviour
  • Is willing and able to take the lead on an aspect of school improvement
  • Is a reflective practitioner
  • Is willing and able to develop learning opportunities beyond the classroom

We are seeking the right teacher for our school and therefore welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their careers, from NQTs to those with experience and leadership potential. The successful candidate will be required to teach a KS2 class in the first instance.
