Temporary Social Worker
You will have a relatively small caseload. They will carry out assessments and commission services for people who are detained in hospital under the mental health act and have complex needs. They will be required to represent the department at a variety of meetings, including mental health tribunals and Care and Treatment reviews. They will need to be able to work effectively alongside hospital and community multi-disciplinary teams. They will need to be able to form positive relationships with key health and social care commissioners and contribute to the development of services.
YAPT is a friendly and supportive team. There will be plenty of supervision and opportunities for training. This vacancy may suit someone looking for a secondment.
Note -you will need to be able to drive and have a access to a car for work purposes
