The post holder will manage the START Reablement Service in Ashfield and Mansfield.  You will support the county wide service operationally as required and help to lead and manage change in the Council's Short Term Independence Services.

START is the Council's Short Term Reablement and Assessment Service.  You will manage a team of managers and support workers who deliver personal care and rehabilitation to people who require help to live at home.

Candidates should have a good track record of managing care provider services and will need to meet the requirements to successfully register with the CQC. Candidates will need to be able to show leadership and the ability to motivate and inspire changes in working practices, to work collaboratively with health colleagues and to support the delivery of programme change. This is a good opportunity for a practitioner wishing to extend their operational managerial skills and play a part in influencing the strategic development of independence services in Nottinghamshire.
