Holgate Primary and Nursery School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring, motivated and highly committed Teaching Assistant to join us in working alongside a professional, supportive and hard-working school and collaboration team. 

The successful applicant will need to be an inspirational and excellent team player who is able to demonstrate good communication skills and flexibility in supporting our pupils, staff and parents. 

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant:

•  Who is patient and caring and put the needs of children first.
•  Who can work as part of a team with parents and other practitioners.
•  Who has a high standard of work ethic in terms of motivation, organisation, personal presentation, punctuality and professional standards.
•  Who is able to follow instructions but also work by using their own initiative.
•  Who has a sound understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.
•  Who is able to provide regular class cover and has significant experience of covering classes or groups.
•  Who is responsible for supporting children’s learning and development so that they can make progress.
