Finance Officer

The Adult Care Financial Services team are looking to expand capacity in the payments and billing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an inclusive and empowering section of adult care finance.  

This team will administer financial processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of payment and billing services associated with the provision of Adult Social Care.

You will liaise with internal colleagues, as well as external care providers and respond to public enquiries regarding their payments and billing needs.

To do this, you will require excellent communication and listening skills and be able to demonstrate empathetically via telephone and email to deliver an exemplary standard of service to our your customers needs.

You should be capable of working on your own, taking initiative to find solutions and troubleshoot tasks comfortably. We are looking for self-motivated candidates, with plenty of enthusiasm, who can manage and prioritise work to meet challenging deadlines.

You will be numerate and have excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office (Excel), and be quick to learn systems and processes. 

Training will be provided on all aspects of the role.
