An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Team Manager in the Ashfield Living Well Team. This team works with Younger Adults who request support under the Care Act 2014.

The Ashfield Community Team are creative and innovative, implementing the 3 Conversations Model and Strength Based Approaches. They are focused on developing collaborative partnerships in the Ashfield area with statutory agencies, service providers and the Voluntary Sector.

The team consists of experienced Team Managers, Advanced Social Work Practitioners, Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Officers. The team is currently based at Lawn View House in Sutton-in-Ashfield, with a hybrid model of working in place.

The team continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and requires support from an understanding and encouraging leadership team to help recovery and future planning.

We are looking for someone who can continue to support the development of the team in their aim to become increasingly both strength and place based, and who is a strong, compassionate leader, able to embed the Local Authority’s Cultural Priorities through Owning and Driving Performance.

This is an ideal development opportunity for new or aspiring Team Managers as well as experienced Managers who are keen to work in this community focussed team.
