The Coping with Risky Behaviours (CRB) Service is a long-standing, well-respected service which sits within the Psychology & Inclusion group of services. It has a reputation for providing high quality training and consultative support to schools across the County.

The Coping with Risky Behaviours (CRB) Service provides a service both to the Local Authority (LA) as well as to Nottinghamshire’s children and young people and their parents and carers. The service is delivered indirectly through schools and other practitioners who work more directly with children and young people.  At its core the CRB service supports and enables schools and practitioners to manage the risk associated with challenging behaviour.  The work of the CRB Service has as its ultimate outcome the safeguarding of children in their education setting.

We are seeking to recruit someone who is confident in the delivery of training, and who has the skills necessary to provide consultative support, usually to Head Teachers, in situations where practitioners are feeling overwhelmed and anxious. You will need to be able to work independently, whilst also having the skills to be able to collaborate with other practitioners, especially within Psychology & Inclusion Services, as well as within the Tackling Emerging Threats to Children team.
