The Gedling Living Well Team are looking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and qualified Social Worker.  This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a multi specialist team offering assessment and commissioning support to adults aged 18-65. 

You will work in a strength-based way and aim to make a real difference to the lives of Adults experiencing physical disabilities, mental health, learning disabilities and ASD. 

You will work in accordance with the following legislation: The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act. Good Communication, time management and IT skills are essential.

The team has a long history of multi-disciplinary and partnership working with other agencies. You will also undertake Adult Safeguarding investigations and take an active role in Decision Support Tool Meetings.

This is a rewarding service area within social work and the team offers good support within a friendly atmosphere. You will receive regular supervision and have access to appropriate training and opportunities for personal development.
