Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Support Officer
This post is based within the Council’s Quality and Market Management team. We are a dynamic team committed to developing and sustaining the social care market in Nottinghamshire, in partnership with a range of independent sector providers as well as service users, carers and social work staff.
You will be responsible for supporting the Quality and Contracts Officer (QCO) who is responsible for maintaining the dynamic purchasing system (DPS) which is the tool that Nottinghamshire County Council uses to identify suitable residential placement for adults under 65 who require specialist care and support.
The role will involve working closely with the QCO and liaising with social workers, providers, and colleagues in commissioning to ensure the best outcome for individuals ensuring that systems are maintained, and due process is followed correctly.
We are looking for someone that shares our enthusiasm and commitment - a proactive problem solver able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
