Temporary Direct Delivery Lead Tutor (Community Learning) (2 posts)

Inspire’s Community Learning and Skills Service is keen to recruit two enthusiastic and experienced lead tutors to line manage a team of Community Learning tutors as well as deliver courses themselves. One post will focus on our employability themed provision, the other on courses that focus on health and wellbeing.

This exciting time for the Service sees us moving in to our own directly delivered provision for the first time. We are looking to appoint highly motivated individuals who will be able to support the development of an exciting and inspiring curriculum and contribute to quality improvement as the Service endeavours to become an outstanding provider of Community Learning. 

The position will be based at Inspire’s Headquarters in Nottingham, but due to the nature of the role travelling around the county will be necessary. You will be required to work full-time and some evening or weekend work may be required to deliver courses that meet the needs of our learners.

You need to be qualified to at least grade A-C in GCSE English and maths (or equivalent). You will also need to hold a teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET, or equivalent). Experience in carrying out lesson observations would be an advantage.
