Grade 5 point 24 to 28 £21,745 - £24,717 (to be equated, term time only)

This is a unique opportunity to join a warm, friendly and caring primary school arising from the retirement of our current Office Manager.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and experienced person with energy and vision to take on the role.  A clear understanding of confidentiality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to ensure that pupils, staff, parents and visitors to the school are supported effectively.  The Office Manager will also be expected to promote the school positively, develop good working relationships and be prepared to contribute to the wider life of the school.

37 hours term time only plus two weeks

The successful candidate will:

• Manage/maintain the budget in accordance with school policies

• Have full responsibility for the school office and administration, including office staff

• Provide secretarial duties for the school governing body and provide a PA service to the Head Teacher

• Have the ability to streamline and implement new processes and procedures

• Lead on procurement activities along with the processing of daily finance activities

• Be able to prioritise effectively and to juggle many different tasks under pressure

• Have a sense of humour and be a good team player
