£7.52 - £7.66 per hour: A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.25 per hour

Nottinghamshire County Council Building Cleaning Service is looking to appoint a new cleaner to maintain the current high standards within John Hunt Primary School, Newark with immediate effect.

You should be prepared to work between the hours of 3.00pm to 5.32pm Monday to Friday. During school holiday periods, when the deep cleans take place, the working hours would need to be more flexible.

You would be required to work on a designated cleaning area undertaking work which will include: vacuuming, toilet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, window cleaning and washing of furniture. It will also be a requirement that electrical machinery such as buffing machines, and wet pick ups etc, must be used periodically.

You will be expected to be self motivated, a good team worker with an eye for detail.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given on site.
