Mobile School Chef
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for the “silver accredited Food for Life, School Catering Service” in various busy school kitchens.
As the Mobile School Chef, you will be preparing a variety of appetising meals every day, with the support of the catering team in each of the kitchens, using local produce and fresh ingredients.
You will be looking after various kitchens at different times and covering for staff absence/sickness in the Bassetlaw area. The maintenance of due diligence procedures and the associated bookwork is required.
We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and friendly team player, who can demonstrate a proven ability to achieve budget targets, whilst providing a high quality catering service. You will continue to encourage the pupils at this school to want to have a school meal, and support the School Catering Service’s desire to educate pupils to have a healthier lifestyle.
Use of own transport is essential, for which a mileage allowance is payable (a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this).
